Daniel Coston started taking photos in 1995, and hasn’t stopped since then. His credits include work with Johnny Cash, the Avett Brothers, Wilco, Son Volt, Andrew Bird, Drive By Truckers, the Beach Boys, the Monkees, the Down From The Mountain tour, and many, many other artists. His photos have been published in nearly every major publication in the US and Europe, and several TV networks. He is also the author of five books, including North Carolina Musicians: Photographs And Conversations, published in 2013, and There Was A Time: Rock & Roll In The 1960s In Charlotte And North Carolina, which was published in 2014. He is currently exhibiting at the Earl Scruggs Center in Shelby, NC, the Charlotte Museum Of History, and the NC Music Hall Of Fame in Kannapolis, NC.
He lives in Charlotte, NC, and still loves the combination of music and travel.
